Holography is a nobel prize winning field of physics. The practice of holography creates three-dimensional images called holograms. They are also referred to as holographic images. A person that works in the field of holography is called a holographer. The creator of this web site, Frank DeFreitas, has been a holographer for over 25 years. A holographer truly has a deep, meaningful understanding of holographic principles. It is the objective of this web site to provide visitors with the correct information on holography and holographic principles when applied to the human thought process.

Rather than relying solely on the physical hologram itself as the model (as many others have in the past), HoloMentation goes one step further in using the *process* of hologram creation as metaphor: coherence, reference and object beams, construtive and destructive interference, beam ratios . . . even spatial filtering. You will learn how each has its role to play.
