Lehigh Wheelmen Association - Ride Cue-Sheets

[Page updated August 30, 2008 9:30 PM]

Riders should be somewhat familiar with the area before venturing out with only the cue-sheet for a guide.  The LWA does not guarantee the accuracy of road names and distances.

Cue-sheets are in Acrobat/Adobe pdf format and require that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher installed. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free.
To get the latest version along with instructions for installing it click PDF Download.
To resolve pdf viewing/printing problems click PDF Tips.
The cue-sheet Acrobat files will open in this same window.  Use the Browser [BACK] button to return here.

To Print a cue-sheet, press the Printer Icon on the Acrobat tool bar.  Do not use File > Print from the Browser tool bar

The cue-sheets are grouped by Ride Starting Point.
A * following a group heading or an individual ride indicates that a map is available from the Map Menu page.
Note: All rides take place on paved roads unless specified otherwise.

WINDOWS XP TECHNICAL NOTE:  If your browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) and your computer is running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed, Acrobat pdf files may be blocked.  If this occurs, click the yellow message box, then click "Allow blocked content".

The Gap Gallop starts from Northampton Community College, Main Campus.
All three routes travel together for 25 miles to the first checkpoint in Danielsville, with about 8 miles of it very close to the mountain.   The Full Century then crosses the mountain along Blue Mountain Ski and runs along the north side for 28 miles (Rest stop at 52 miles) to Delaware Water Gap where it crosses back over, and winds its way to the town of Wind Gap (77-mile rest stop), then stays along the mountain for 7 miles before turning south to the campus.
The Metric (68-mile route) follows the 100-mile route over the mountain for about 38 miles, then branches off and crosses back through Wind Gap to the rest stop, reaching in 43 miles what the Century route does in 77 miles. The Metric then follows the Century route back to the campus.
The Half-Century returns along the mountain and meets the Century return route at 35 miles and follows it back to the campus. The Half-Century does not cross the mountain.
