Descent
A perfect example of the old adage of carrying your camera with you everywhere. This shot was taken in the parking lot of a local department store.
Fuji Velvia
Defiant
Abandoned architecture in defiance of the elements, yet in strange harmony with its surroundings.
Kodak EPP 100
Motive Ghosts
Pidgeons in an old railroad engine works building.
Light Horse
Car lights on the freeway. I love these pictures (more will appear soon)
Kodak EPP 100, exposure ~10 sec..
Financial Edge
A bank headquarters at dusk. The green light at the top adds the perfect touch to this photo. Fuji Velvia.
Evidence
The pipe is gone and so is the field it rests on, replaced by a restaraunt. The field in the background will soon be gone too, paved over for shoppers. The pipe had stood in that spot for at least seven years. I have no idea why it had been left there. Kodachrome 64.
Orange
No this shot was not set up. I was simply walking down a city street and saw it. I love the contrast of the blue & the orange, with the concrete as the stage. Kodak EPP100.
Inanimate Stalk
This is not a setup either (I don't set up shots, it's no fun). The ball had been thrown over the fence by my neighbors. My objective was to shoot the ball, but when I looked through the finder the garden hose in the background reminded me of a snake attempting to set up an attack on the ball from the rear. Kodak EPP100.
Ice Bubbles
Air bubbles trapped in foot thick ice. Kodak Gold 400.
Rocks
I love deserts, they contain so many weird objects and grand vistas. Kodak Gold 400.
