DeTurk Genealogy is expected to begin with the 7th generation in America, following the material contained in the 1934 book by Eugene P. DeTurk titled History and Genealogy of the DeTurk DeTurck Family. The author is my grandfather. He is entered in that book on page 298 as:
"(38) EUGENE PETER DETURK (6), (William 5, John 4, Philip 3, John 2, Isaac 1), born Dec. 11, 1865 ... married ... Elizabeth Alice Deisher (born Feb. 14, 1870) ...
There were 12 children (7th generation):
My mother was Esther Kathyryn DeTurk (Born Jan.22, 1910, and died March 19, 1995). She married Joseph Edward Hospador on June 20, 1936. They had two children (8th generation), Mary Elizabeth DeTurk Hospador (Born July 14, 1937) and Andrew Eugene Hospador (Born Dec. 2, 1940).
Mary Elizabeth DeTurk Hospador married Willis E. Bridegam (~1956) and they had one child (9th generation), Martha Ann Bridegam.
Andrew E. Hospador married Jane Marie Creswell on Sept. 6, 1964. they had two children (9th generation), Ellen Kay Hospador (Born Aug. 10, 1969) and Sara Marie Hospador(Born May 7, 1972).
