GUARDIAN ANGELS
We know we can't keep them with us forever, but we don't have to forget about them when they're gone. Many believe they wait for us at a place called Rainbow Bridge....

"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster
and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the
trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
You can then cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

Gone But Not Forgotten

Always a gentleman, Always a riddle, Forever loved....
"Emmitt came into my life one year ago, at the age of four. He was very sad to leave his old home. I spent most of the past year trying to please and comfort him.
He was always a gentleman. He was always polite in his dealings with humans and other dogs. He had beauty and elegance. His beauty was breath-taking to me. I never tired of watching him, both at rest and on the move.
He was very reserved and always a riddle to me. He had a great sense of mischief and was very intelligent - pretty much always getting his own way.
Emmitt had just started to enjoy himself. He loved being held and stroked so he was great as a Therapy Dog. His friends at Kids Peace miss him. He really loved seeing his new dog friends during his visits.
Emmitt's death left a huge hole in my heart. He is dearly missed by all who knew him.
Much thanks to all of you, who made his loss a little more bearable. Your calls, cards, support and friendship have been greatly appreciated."
