It's the 1985 Williams Comet Pinball Machine, one of three machines from Williams based upon an amusement park. It was the first pinball machine to offer the player the ability to score one million points in a single shot! Enjoy its many challenging score features - shooting galleries, roller coaster, cycle jump, dunk the dummy, corkscrew ramp, and a great sound and light show, including voices.
I purchased this machine in working condition less than ten years ago, and began work on cleaning up the playfield and fixing a connector problem on the power supply board. I lost interest, and now need to reduce my inventory. I have removed most of the plastics and other items from the top of the playfield, and put them into identified bags, as you'll see below. All parts are included. The power supply board has one damaged connector and one missing connector, where the power lines were directly soldered to the board. I was planning to put replacement Molex connectors on the board, but didn't get to it.
19 November 2006 - Update. I have acquired the needed power supply board connectors, and have replaced on that board the missing and the damaged pieces. I am in the process of replacing the plugs now on the two cables that connect to these. In short, the power supply problem will be a thing of the past at the time of sale.
What you get is a great project pinball machine that has been partially "shopped." In addition to the machine and all original parts, this offer includes the following:
As you can see from the photographs below, the backglass is in near perfect condition, with only a couple of small areas where the paint has chipped and light shines through. You can also see from the photos that the playfield has very little wear and paint damage, with the two worst areas being up top near the 1-9-8-6 numbers and in the cycle jump. I have also included a photograph showing some of the replacement plastics and how I carefully packaged parts removed from the playfield into bags grouped by playfield area.

Here are photographs of various parts of the machine. Click on the thumbnail images to call up the full size versions. Sorry for the photograph size (and thus the resulting download time) being large, but I wanted to give interested individuals as much detail as possible. Full size images are 900x600, 16 million colors, 1.5 megabytes.
