Premiere - Commission for Blue Mountain School District Elementary Band (Man's Best Friend, Grade 1), with Watson guest conducting.

Premiere - Lehigh County Band premieres original commissioned work (The Golden Legacy, Grade 3.5) to celebrate the organization's 50th Anniversary, with Watson conducting.

Guest Conductor - Allentown School District "Bands-in-the-Round" featuring music by Scott Watson.

2007

November

Commission - Blue Mountain School District Elementary Band, Joseph O'Melia, Director. For combined district wide 4th and 5th grade bands. Made possible with a grant from the Blue Eagle Foundation. Watson will conduct the premiere, as well as several other of his works, at Blue Mountain High School on May 16, 2008.

October

Commission - Lehigh County Bandmasters Association. Celebratory work to commemorate their 50th Anniversary. Watson will conduct the premiere at the 50th annual Lehigh County Band concert, March 2008.

April

Guest Conductor - Middle Grades Music & Arts Festival. Delaware Valley Middle School. Mollie Wilson, Host.

Commission - Massachusetts Instrumental & Choral Conductors Association, (MICCA). Work for Grade 3 Concert Band & Chorus, to be premiered March 2007 at the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Annual Conference in Boston. Watson will present a lecture/demonstration about the commissioned piece, Night Journey (text by Theodore Roethke) and conduct the Algonquin High School Concert Band & Chorus in the premiere.

Spring

Commission - International Horn Society (Meir Rimon Commissioning Program). Work for solo horn and concert band.

Commission - Holy Trinity R. C. Church Choir (Egypt, PA), Christine Lerew, Director. Anthem for choir and organ or piano.

Performance - Magic Valley, originally commissioned by the American Composers Forum, the Magic Valley Arts Council, and the Twin Falls Municipal Band for the centennial of Twin Falls, ID, will receive a follow-up reading by the West Chester University Wind Ensemble, Ken Laudermilch, Director at their 2006 Spring concert (Swope Hall, WCU).

Guest Conductor - PMEA District 10, West, Elementary Band Festival. Shenandoah Valley Jr./Sr. High School. Dale Schimpf, Host. Concert includes Slam Jam! and the premiere of On Holiday.
