The 1000 person gym is filled to capacity, the vistors side seating about 200 anxious and excited Easton fans, the home side filled with rowdy and loud, foot stomping Upper Perkiomen fans as the JV match rolls to completion with Upper Perk headlocking themselves to a 26-15 win. The Easton wrestlers take the mat, the injured Nick Burgey, Andrew Goldstein, Mike Rogers and Sean Richmond are all warming up looking ready to go tonight. As they finish, the lights drop except for the huge center light, and the Upper Perk fans start yelling, clapping and cheering as the UP Indians roll onto the mat to the sound of the Doors LA Woman....the signifigance lost on this reporter, but enjoyable none-the-less. The captains shake hands, and we're ready to wrestle!

119lbs Sr. Brandon Clemmer vs. Jr. Seth Ciasulli 1st period Ciasulli in quick for an atemoted single, fought of by Clemmer they tie, Clemmer gets an underhook they take a stalemate.Ciasulli akes an underhook and tries to get around behind a strong Clemmer. Stalemate. They restart and tie up, and the Ref calls a double stall as the period ends. 0-0 2nd period Ciasulli sta\rts down,reverses Clemmer and Petersons him into 3back points, Clemmer slides out Ciasullli resets the Peterson for 2 more backs. They tussel in a flurry and Clemmer almost gets teh reverse but Ciasulli holds him to the whistle, Coach Honts goesto the score table to argue the same peterson was used but does not win. Ciasulli up 7-0. 3rd period Clemmer takes bottom, Ciasulli works to turn Clemmer and pins him at 4:41 Easton 6-0

Austin Reed vs. Jr. Alex Krom 1st period Krom grabs a single after circling around and converts it to a takesdown. he worjs it fr the right side tying up the near arm and then a half as Reed tries to get to the edge of the mat.....and he does. Easton caution from top on the restart, Reed stands up and Krom takes him to the mat to his back at the buzzer for 2 backs. Krom 4-0 2nd period Krom openswith a shrug to an inside trip for the take down. Kromgets another caution on the ret\start as the Ref is slow to blow the whistle to the Easton fans dismay. Krom works hard fro the top to turn Reed, as the ref hits Reed with a stall. Period ends Krom 6-0 3rd period Krom takes bottom, and Reed lets hi stand and Krom reverses him as they go off the mat. They restart and Krom again stays busy on top Reed doing little on bottom Krom works to turn him as the ref calls a 2nd stal on Reed, and the period ends. Kroms 100th win Krom 9-0 Easton 10-0

130lbs So. SamWalters vs Jr. Andrew Goldstein 1st period Goldstein comes out a\with a bandage \on his injurd thumb, and works real hard for a take down from a high single, Walters escapes and they go backto center and try to get a feel for each other. perid ends, Goldstein 2-1 2nd period Easton defers choice, UP takes down Walters escapes and they go off the mat. Walters almost takes GOldstein down as they work to the edge of the mat. The same happens again from the restart. On the next restart Goldt\stein gets a single in and Walters goes high and comes out the bottom and they rolls thru an exchange to a stalemate. 2-2 3rd period Goldstein starts down and escapes and works an ankle for a takedown thenthey stalemate and on the restart Walters wok]rks loose and almst takes Goldsti\ein down at the wdge but they are out. Resa\tart from their feet and goldstein converts a single for a takesdown as teh match ends, Goldstein 7-3 Easton 13-0

135lbs Sr. Darren Kern vs. Jr. Nick Burgey 1st period Kern takes Burgey diw immediatly, andworks him to a cradle, for the pin in 0:51. The gym explodes. Easton 13-6

140lbs Jr. Jimmy McViegh vs. So. Braylin Williams 1st period Williams opens with atakedown at the edge, Mcviegh stands and they go out. on the restart Mcveigh stands again and escapes. they tie up and and dance around before McVeigh attempts a throw that Wiliams turns into a takedown. Williams 4-1 2nd period McVeigh starts down, after the deferral and Williams rides a busy Jimmy McVeigh, 45 seconds in McVeigh escapes and the ref calls blood time on Williams, they restart neutral adn tie up, for 45 seconds before the ref bangs McVeigh with a stall. Williams 4-2 3rd period Williams starts down, and almost escapes as they go out, McVeigh takes the optional start and looks for teh headlockbut the ref calls a caution on the restart. This time Williams stands and escapes. They tie up to a stalemate, andon the restart McVeigh tries the standing headlockbut Willias fights it off, then asks for injury time. They restart and McVeigh gets another caution for a point, McVeigh escapes and chases Williams off the mat. On the rstart WIlliams again works to the edge and goes out. McVeigh is the aggressor as Williams works to avoid the headlock as the period ends. Williams 8-3 Easton 16-6

Brent Fiorito vs. Jr. Jordon Nettuno 1st period Both wrestlers fight for hand control for the entire period without a shot taken 0-0 2nd period Fiorito chooses down and escapes and Nettuno takes him back down before he escapes again. They battle aganfir hand cuntrol and finallyFioito shoots for a single at the edge and Nettuno drags him out, 2-2 3rd period Nettuni starts down, and Firoito is busy on top Nettuno is startig to show signs of gassing, as Fiorito works the injured elbow, and BEttuno screams in pain and the ref calls injury time. Fiorito rides hard but can't turn Nettuno who tries to stand but is taken right back down as they go out, on the restart he stands again but Fiorito takes him backdown hard and they go out, . 30 sec left ad\nd the restart Nettuno stands and Firito pukks him down on top of himself for a near reversal as they buzzer sounds,2-2 OT THey fightfor hand cotrol and tussel about before Fiorito gets the takedown at 6;48 Fiorito 4-2 Easton 16-9

152lbs Jr. Alex Maza vs. Sr. Mike Rogers 1st period They dance....circling, tying up, Rogers tries a shrug, doesn't work, then tries an inside single and Maza falls on his back out of bounds, Rogersjumps on him with feet in for te takedown. Rogers rides hard tringtoseup the Rogers roll before the Reff calls a stall on him. On the restart he works hard to execute the roll and succeeds but Maza rolls thru. Rogers 2-0 2nd period Rogers deferrs, Maza takes down Rogers rolls him for 2 backs. Rogers works the top hard but Maza is strong, he rolls him again for 2 more backs, and gets a 2nd caution on the restart, period ends, Rogers 6-0 3rd period Rogers starts down and reverses into a hammerlock, but Maza stands and Rogers brings him down again He lets Maza up, then takes hi right down again for 2 lets him up and takes him down, lets him up and takes him down. with the score 16-5 and Maza doing nothing on bottom he asks for injury time. with 12 second let Rogers selects alternate start and goes to the front headlock. 160lbs Sr. Alex Shafer vs. Sr. Sean Richmond 1st period Richmond comes out with a takedown, Shafer escapes, and Richmond takes him down again, Richmond 4-1 2nd period Shafer choses bottom, and escapes. He gets a single nearthe edge and they stalemate to neutral restart. Richmond gets in on a angle for the takedown, and in attempting to esccape he twists Richmonds injured arm and Richmond calls for injury time to the crowds disgust. T hey restart and Richmond lets him up. Richmond is in deep on a single at the edge and they are out Richmond 6-3 3rd period Richmond down, he stands and escapes, they tie up, Richmond pulls Shafer down and circles behinfd for 2, then lets him up. On the restart Olson tries to turn him but can't until he locks a cradle and Dailey reverses him to his back for 2 backs. Olson 5-4 2nd period Daley defers and Iolsen takes down and immediatly escapes. Dailey gets in on a single and Olsen pulls him off the mat. Olsen gets a takedown and and cradles Dailey who fights his way to the edge after giving up 3 backs. n the restart Daily stnds but Olsn holds on to the buzzer, Olson 11-4 3rd period Dailey takes neutral, and tries a sit-pull but Olson reads it and drop on him for 2. then cradles Dailey for 3 backs but Olson canlt get him and Daily reverses him. and tuerns him but no backs Olson 16-6 Easton 23-13

189lbs Sr. Jake Engle vs. Jr. Zack Pizzaro 1st period Pizzaro gets in and almost gets the takedown as they go out, on the restar he gets in again but they go out again, On the next restart Pizzarro gets the takedown before tey go out, Engle stands and escapes on the restart, Engle pushs Pizzaro to the edge and Pizzaro pulls him into a lateral drop at the edge but no points. Pizzaro 2-1 2nd period Engle starts down and stands for the escape again. As they tie up, Pizzaro tries to shrug, but Engle rolls him to a takedown at the edge, On the restart Pizzaro stands for the escape and they tie up and go out, they restart and Pizzarro gets another single but they go out, Pizzarro shrugs to a doube l eg but Enge stands and at the efge gets the reverse, on the restart time runs out, Engle 6-5 3rd period Pizaro down manages to escape and they exchange almost takedowns at the edge, On the restart Engle bulls Pizzaro to the edge and they go out, On the restart he bulls Pizzarro again and gets pulled into a lateral drop at the edge for 2. they restart and Engel nearly escapes, but Pizzarro holds him. they go out and restart, Engle reverses Pizaaro to his back for a 5 oint move to end the match Engle 11-8 Easton 23-16

They tie up....Groller pushes him off the mat and the ref calls a stall on UP, 0-0 2nd period Albanesius starts down and escapes. thy tie up in the middle, Groller gets in on a double at teh edge for 2, and tries to turn, but Albanesius wiggles out of bounds, restat and Groller rides hard and turns him but they go out, Albanesius squirms out and they go out 2-2 3rd period Groller starts down and stands right up and out for the escape. they fo out, Albanesius tries a double but Groller pushes him away, Then Groller tries and is pushed away, they tie up, and go out, they restart and tie up and go out, restart with 20 seconds left and Groller almost takes Albanesius down intheedge, they tie and fight and Groller gets the takedown at the buzzer, Groller 5-2 Easton 26-22

Chris Sheetz vs Sr. Chris Corona 1st period Corona in on the singlebut Sheetz fights it off and gets the takedown, Sheets rides and cant turn Corona as they go out, restart and go out again, restart again and Corona stands but is pushed out, Sheetz 2-0 2nd period Corona defers, Sheetz takes neutral, they tie up and sheetz pushes Corona out of bounds, on the restart Corona gets a hold of a single but Sheetz pulls him out of bounds, Sheetz pushes Corona out again and the ref bangs him for a stall. Steve Powell calls teh ef t the scoring table . They resume and Corona gets in on the single again but Sheets fghts him off the mat. On teh restart Sheetz throw the headlock and gets the TD and 3 backs but Corona fights off the pin. Sheets 7-0 3rd period Corona starts down and escapes. Ref stops for blood on Corona. Corona gets in on the high single, lifts Sheets and takes him down on the edge, Corona gets legs in on the restart and Sheets stands and ref stops them, rstart and Corona rides it out, Sheets 7-3 Easton 26-25
