2009 Summer Camp Info

Stroudsburg Wrestling Parent/Wrestler Camp - July 7- July 9
Stroudsburg will be holding it's 2nd Annual Parent/Wrestler Camp this year July 7-9,2009. This is to teach both parents and wrestlers about the sport and what they cando at home. Parents are expected to participate with their wrestler at this camp. We will have trained staff and current Stroudsburg Wrestlers to help assist. District XI at PIAA State Duals

Northampton, Blue Mountain, Pen Argyl and Wilson headed off to Hershey this weekend to represent District 11 at the State Duals Tournament. Unfortunatly, there was no gold coming back home. Pen argyl opened against a very strong Westmont-Hiltop and were sent packing home. Wilson met a similar fate against a strong Bedford team. Blue Mountain easily handled Clearfield in the prelimanary round, and then Quakertown in the Quarterfinals before falling to a strong Cumberland Valley team in the Semifinals. Northampton opened in the quarterfinals with a solid win over a very strong Central Mountain team only to drop once again to the defending champion Central Dauphin squad. In wrestlebacks Blue Mountain made a valiant effort but fell short of the Central Mountain squad while Northampton dismantled and destroyed Boyertown. Northampton met Central Mountain in the Consie Finals for 3rd place, and put together a much more convincing and dominating win. Meanwhile, Central Dauphin had an easy time putting away Cumberland Valley for the Championship while Reynolds easily handled Shady Side Academy in the AA Championship.
