Some facts and opinions regarding UFO's and the 1947 Roswell Incident
FACT: The Military in the early 1970's admitted that the craft wreckage reported near Roswell, New Mexico on July 5, 1947 was not from a weather balloon, but from an "espionage balloon" and that there had been a "V-2 base" near the site. OPINION: Witnesses indicate that the wreckage was definitely not balloon-related, and several sources have indicated that the V-2 base was not the only interesting project there, but that it may also have been home to an early "VTOL Base" ( Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft ).
FACT: When the military's top secret VTOL Base ( Vertical Take-off and Landing Aircraft ) was moved to Eastern Pennsylvania in Spring of 1963, many residents there reported seeing strange things... including flying saucers. However, in one case, the lady ( Betty O'Shall ) was quoted as saying "At first I thought it was a plane but it just hovered there, so I knew it couldn't be." OPINION: Although as indicated by the previous statement, some of the residents described traditional aircraft with unfamiliar traits, several residents specifically described the crafts as "saucer-shaped", yet to date no released data shows such VTOL in development? Could it be instead that the VTOL are inspired by an alien design from the crash site or that the design interests and attracts intergalactic travellers?
FACT: With the top secret base relocated later to the hills of Virginia, an interesting set of changes took place in people's reported sightings... including aircraft that "turned invisible" or "disappeared suddenly". There were also major design changes visible in the VTOL aircraft that were sighted and identified there... the design changed to a wedge shape ( similar to that seen on the later Stealth Bomber ) and the coloration changed to a dark grey... OPINION: Could the "disappearances" have been an intentional trick of light caused by the coloration or its reflective properties? Or could they have instead reflected further alien technologies?
