The Aerotech HeNe lasers consisted of power ranges from 0.5 milliwatt up to 16 milliwatts. Their headquarters was located in Pittsburgh, PA (Zeta Drive). The tubes were manufactured in Sunnyvale, California. My first laser was an Aerotech . . . the LLS-5 (5mW). I believe it was $680.00 in 1983 year dollars. With two toddlers, and one still in diapers, I worked second jobs to pay for it.
