Townships' Pat Bell at 171 pounds, pinned Ocean's Jeff Siciliano 16 seconds into the final period. Siciliano was a District 22 champion as a freshman last year and has dominated on the mat this year. Ocean freshman Nick Menditto beat Freehold Township's Efrain Morales at 119 pounds in one of the bigger matches of the night. The Spartans are now 6-0, with a win against Southern and a 5-0 mark in A North; Freehold Township is now 3-4, 1-3 in A North.

Frank Dunzello's 3-1 decision against Dave Becker was the key match in the Lions (3-2, 3-1) Class A North victory over the Braves (4-6, 1-4).

Dunzello got a takedown in the opening period and the two exchanged escape points in the 130 pound bout. Prior to that, A.J. Maresca picked up a 4-2 victory against Brandon Cohen at 125 pounds.

The Rebels (5-3, 2-2) jumped out and won the first eight bouts, five of which were pins, and never looked back in a Class A North win over the Eagles (1-4, 1-4). Rebels' 215-pounder Mike Bonfig had a four-point move in the final 10 seconds of his bout with Dan Boljonis and won, 13-10. South's Andrew Poulson (189), 7-0, and Nick Rubino (HWT), 9-0, remained undefeated.

For the Blue Devils (4-4, 1-1), Jed Fister pinned Dave Roberts at 125 pounds, and Billy Goldberg pinned Trevor Eyerkuss at 130.

Justin Antonelli got a takedown with three seconds remaining in overtime to beat Derek Maldonado in their 215-pound bout to spearhead the Garnet Gulls (7-2, 2-1) Class B Central victory. Beach had lost the first two bouts at 130 and 135 before turning up the heat, pinning in six of the next 12 bouts. Keyport is 1-5, 1-2 in B Central.

The Rockets (5-2, 2-0) won nine bouts, including three in a row from 125 through 135, in capturing a Class B North win over the Hornets (1-6, 1-3). Steve Ip (125) and Dave Seidenberg (135) each won by pin for Raritan.

The Titans continued their march through Class B Central opponents with the easy triumph. Senior Anthony Cosentino scored a first period pin at 215 pounds over Dan Holzapfel as the Titans (6-2, 3-0) had eight pins on the way to downing the Purple Roses (3-5, 0-2).

The Colonials (8-4, 4-2) won four of the final six bouts, including three pins, to secure the win over the Falcons (2-6, 0-4) in B North.

Ben Ostner at 171 pounds, Josh Lamb at 189 pounds and Anthony Panzarino at 215 pounds all pinned for Freehold.

Drew Heiss (130), Kyle Freenan (171) and Kyle Bahm (103) each defeated their opponents 5-4 for the Indians. Wes Spagnoli, Robert Bates, Dan Trout, Mike Bodrog, William Krause and Aaron Gormley also earned victories at their respective weight classes.

Eric Levenseller picked up the Golden Eagles' lone victory at 145. Randy Moore (160) recorded a 55-second pin - one of eight falls by the Irish. Eric Levenseller accounted for Seneca's points with a 6-5 win at 145.

Paul Hand and Keenan Jackson earning wins for Camden. Chris Romano's 57-second fall at 171 led Timber Creek to its first victory - a 67-12 rout at Camden.

Anthony Rizzolo, Matt Gambale and Matt Kappler finished the match with wins at 112, 119 and 125 for the Spartans. Deptford improved to 6-0 overall and its 3-0 mark in the Royal ties it with Kingsway for the divisional lead.Anthony Rizzolo (112 pounds), Matt Gambale (119) and Augie DiBernardo (Hwt.) led the way for the Spartans.

Dan Willing, Kyle Anerousis, Stan Morrison, Kierin Agresta, Theo Apostle, Mike Winklespecht, Williamstowns'Steve Kelley, Sean Junk, Joe Migoley and Kentre Harvin each won their bouts.

Williamstown won 10 bouts, including eight by fall and one by technical fall, en route to a 56-17 road win against Overbrook. Stan Morrison (140), Kevin Agresta (145) and Theo Apostle (152) strung together consecutive falls to power the Braves.

NB winning six of its bouts with pins. R.J. Melton, Brian Perry, Ray Bullus, Steve Makuka, Geoff Bauma and Al Wonesh each pinned their opponents for the No. 10 Greyhounds. Nursing a five-point lead going into the final three bouts, Northern Burlington finished with a flurry, reeling off three straight pins, en route to a 47-24 win over visiting Cinnaminson. Steve Makuka (140), Jeff Baum (145) and Al Wonesh closed out the meet with pins as the Greyhounds improved to 6-0.

Corey Pritchett and Brent Clemens won the final two bouts of the match to lift Bordentown to a 43-33 victory against Riverside. At 145 and 152, Pritchett and Clemens each pinned their opponents in less than one minute. Cory Pritchett (145) and Brent Clemens (152) had consecutive pins of 55 and 51 seconds to close out Bordentown's 43-33 victory at Riverside. The Rams' Brandon Griffin raised his record to 13-0 with a second-period fall at 189.

The Panthers won consecutive bouts from 152-103. Collingswood ran its unbeaten streak to nine with a 36-21 triumph at Haddon Township. Kenny Chambers (125) and Kevin Ferguson (160) recorded pins in 46 and 33 seconds, respectively, for the Panthers.

James Stewart earned the Silver Knights' lone victory in the final bout of the match with a decision in double overtime at 189. Paulsboro took its frustrations from a two-meet losing streak the program's longest in 37 years out on host Sterling, whipping the Silver Knights, 54-3. Chuck Martell (152) and Alex Silvestro (215) recorded first-period falls for the Red Raiders.James Stewart recorded Sterling's lone win with a 2-1 double-overtime decision against Ellis Hester at 189.

Anthony Rossner (130) and Vinny Commisso (135) delivered back-to-back pins and Dan Pfister (140) didn't surrender any bonus points in a 4-2 loss as Delran pulled out a 32-30 road win over Pemberton.Delran trailed 24-7 before Dan Hughes notched a 24-second fall at 103. The Bears won four of the next five bouts to defeat Pemberton.

Sophomore Jackie Erickson (103) captured a second-period pin in just the second all-female bout in South Jersey history during Burlington City's 66-10 win at McCorristin.Erickson was winning, 9-6, against Jessica Massehat when she sealed the pin. Nick Priest (130) and Kyle Cameron (152) notched pins in the first minute of their matches for City.

Moorestown's Jim Phelan (Hwt.) knocked off previously unbeaten Billy Conway with a pin in 3:07 to spark the Quakers' 42-31 home triumph against Burlington Township. Conway, who bumped up from 215, fell to 15-1.The Quakers' Al Pierce (215), a third-place finisher at District 26 last season, returned from a leg injury and pinned his opponent in 41 seconds in his first match of the year.

New Egypt won the first six bouts, including three by fall, and held on for a 40-33 home win against Maple Shade. Lee Hopkins (189), Nick Markee (Hwt) and Tommy Carr (112) sparked the early run with falls for the Warriors.

Toms River North 42, Toms River South 27

Toms River North collected forfeits in the final four bouts to record a 42-27 win over Toms River South in a Class A South match.

The Mariners (5-3, 2-2), who collected five forfeits in all, trailed 27-18 before the final four forfeits. Marcos Flores (130) had a come-from-behind win for Toms River North as he rallied from a 5-1 deficit after two periods to defeat Eric Fisher, 9-6, on a takedown and six backpoints. Toms River South received a 5-3 win from Rob Micheliche over Rodrigo Castro at 152. Micheliche had takedowns in the first and second periods. The Indians' Frank Ruggiero broke away from a 2-2 tie after two periods to beat Erik Nyegaard, 8-6. Ruggiero had an escape, a takedown, two backpoints and an escape in the third to offset Nyegaard's reversal and takedown.

Class A South-leading Southern Regional won the first four bouts and went on to a 43-12 win over Brick in a Class A South match. Frank Molinaro (125), the Region VI champion last year at 119, major decisioned Collin Lewis, the Region VI fourth-place finisher last year at 119, 10-2, to begin the match.

Jason Eckloff's decision over Don Miller at 119 in the final bout of the match gave Howell a 30-24 win over Brick Memo-rial in the featured match of a tri-meet at Lakewood. Josh Barnhard's pin over at 189, a bout he was losing at the time of the pin, was the key result for the Rebels (4-3), who greatly improved their chances of earning a top 10 seed in the SCT. The featured bout of the match saw Brick Memorial's Dave Kiley, a Region VI semifinalist last year at 140, defeat Howell's Billy Woodward, the Region VI third-place finisher last year at 135, on a takedown at the buzz-er.

Wins by Phil O'Hara and Dave Seidenberg sealed the deal for the No. 6 Rockets (5-2) in a nondivisional victory over the No. 9 Lions (4-4). O'Hara pulled out an 8-5 decision over Jimmy Donovan at 119 to get Raritan within three points. Seidenberg came out and caught Travis Torchia for a pin at 125, clinching the come-from-behind victory.

Brick's Dustin Hickman pulled out a pair of wins, including a 2-0 win at 145 over Manasquan's Dave Alseiux, as the Dragons beat Shore 51-23 and Manasquan 61-9. Manasquan senior Ryan Flores won by pin in both of his bouts, including a 34 second pin of Brick's Kevin Senkarik at 135.

Brooks Seibel's overtime victory sparked Red Bank to a 37-31 win over Neptune as part of quad at Wall. Seibel beat Rich Campo 9-7 at 125, the second to last bout of the match. Seibel got a takedown to force the overtime and then another takedown 43 seconds into the extra session. Lance Shen followed with a win by major decision over Lenny Peragine at 130 to seal Red Bank's win.

Nick Tenpenny had three wins for the Golden Eagles, including a win over Vianney's Lenny Sasso (at 145) by technical fall and Colts Neck's Rob Manney (at 152) in a 3-1 decision. Manney beat Vianney's Kyle Pardun at 152 when Pardun left the bout via injury default. Nick Tenpenny's win by tech-nical fall over St. John Vian-ney's Lenny Sasso at 145 high-lighted Central Regional's 41-34 win in the featured match of a quad at Colts Neck High Scool. Central (6-1), which also defeat-ed Rumson-Fair Haven, 66-15, and Colts Neck, 44-29, avenged a loss to the Lancers last year.

Marty Infante and Gage Bongiovi both won double overtime decisions at 215 and heavyweight, respectively, for the Panthers (6-1) as they squeaked by the Green Wave (4-2) in a nondivisional match. Point Boro was able to take the home the final four matches, as Kyle Coleman and Jeff Jacobs scored decisions at 171 and 189 respectively. Three one-point wins in the final three bouts, including overtime decisions by Marty Infante (215) and Gage Bongiovi (heavyweight) to end the match, capped a rally from a six-point deficit with four bouts left and gave visiting Point Pleasant Boro a 28-22 win over Long Branch in a non-division-al match. Jeff Jacobs, normally a 160-pounder and the Region VI runner-up last year at 145, weighed in at 171, bumped up to 189 and defeated John Jasio, the District 23 runner-up last year at 189, 1-0. Infante (215), competing in his third-ever varsity match, defeated Gennaro, who began the day with an 8-4 record, 5-4, in overtime and Bongiovi, nor-mally a 215-pounder, defeated Darrius Williams, 2-1, despite giving up about 50 pounds, ac-cording to Point Boro coach Deve Kirk. 'This was a pretty impressive showing by our kids," Kirk said. 'They sacrificed the individual aspect of the sport. They surrendered me for we, and that's why we beat this team. I'm very proud of what they did."

The Garnet Gulls (6-1) won 11 of the 14 bouts, six of which were pins, in a Class B South victory over the Lions (1-4).

Jon Trout (160) registered a second-period fall in the final bout to lock up Lenape's 31-26

victory at Cherokee. In a meet that featured a split in the 14 bouts, Cherokee's Voris Tejada notched a 7-1 victory over Aaron Gormley in the most anticipated match.

Shahz Khan (152) was winning, 7-0, when his opponent defaulted because of an injury giving Triton six points and a 36-33 win over Shawnee.

Brian Talley (160) was 2-0 with two pins and Anthony Williams (135), Nigel Shockley (15) and Khan each went 2-0 for Triton.

Northern Burlington's R.J. Melton (215) pulled off an upset with a 13-4 victory over Ian McCleaf to highlight the Greyhounds' 45-14 home win over Pemberton.

Jerry DeSanto raised his record to 15-0 with a 10-second pin at 103 as Cinnaminson dealt visiting Burlington City a 46-27 loss. James Saxton improved to 14-1 with a pin at 125 and Justin Embler bumped up to 215 and recorded a pin for the Pirates.

Riverside went on the road and swept a quad-meet with wins over host Holy Cross, 40-33; McCorristin, 77-6, and Willingboro, 48-36.Brendon Griffin (189) locked up the Rams' victory over Holy Cross with a 9-0 decision while John Mongon (160) went 3-0 with three pins at the meet for the Rams. Mongon, a senior, improved to 8-6.Andrew Flannery (215) finished 3-0 with two pins and Chris Notte (125) went 2-0 with two pins for the Lancers.

Brian Zizak (152) delivered a key 6-2 win before Kevin Ferguson (160) posted a 16-1 technical fall and Cory Ferguson (215) and Warren Haubois (Hwt.) recorded falls.

The Golden Eagles improved to 8-2. Vince Catalani (119) wrapped up the victory over Clearview with an 8-6 decision in the final bout.

Brent Clemens (145) gave the Scotties a victory with a first-period fall. Clemens went 3-0. Bill Dekovitch (171) and Joel Presa (130) each went 3-0 with three pins for Bordentown.

Seneca's Vince Catalani edged Tim Bast, 8-6, in the final match at 119 to deliver the victory.

The Pioneers had pulled into a 29-29 tie on back-to-back technical falls by Ryan Layton (103) and Dan Mellott (112). The teams split a pair of double-overtime decisions, with Seneca's Drew Winger winning at 130, and Clearview's Jared Camlin prevailing at 145.
