112 pounds

1. So. Zach Horan (19-3) Nazareth

2. So. Jamie Welsh (16-4) Pen Argyl

Comments: One of our best classes, no change again among top five. Horan did not compete, Welsh was 3-0, Mazza 6-0, Fleck 3-2 against elite competition and Shaffer 2-0.

119 pounds

1. Jr. Anthony Marino (19-0) Liberty

2. Fr. Mitch Minotti (22-4) Easton

3. So. Franco Ferraina (16-5) Nazareth

4. Fr. Jason Stephen (15-7) Northampton

5. Jr. Adam Phillippi (16-4) Saucon Valley

Honorable mention: Jr. Lee Coleman (14-4) Bangor; So. Josh LaBar (16-6) Pius X; Jr. Pat Levandowski (12-5) North Hunterdon; So. Rex Lutz (14-5) Pen Argyl; So. Rob Napolitano (12-4) Hackettstown; So. Tony Stanell (9-3) Palisades.

Taking injury time: Jr. Doug Cowley (10-1) Belvidere; Fr. Rich Cruz (14-1) Bethlehem Catholic.

Comments: Status quo but interesting week is ahead (including Monday night's probable Minotti-Ferraina bout). Marino went 2-0 with fall over Ferraina but was challenged in 13-8 loss to Stephens. Minotti defeated Stevens 7-2 and went 4-1 with only loss to Blair's Sean Boyle, 4-3. Ferraina was 0-1, Stevens 0-2, Phillippi 2-0. Probable Marino vs. Minotti clash will be worth price of admission to Wednesday's Liberty-Easton dual.

125 pounds

1. Sr. Evan Yenolevich (21-1) Northwestern

2. So. Matt Lane (21-3) Phillipsburg

3. Jr. Jordan Glykas (15-5) Northampton

4. So. Greg Noll (14-10) Nazareth

5. Sr. D.J. Hartrum (15-3) Wilson

Honorable mention: Sr. Derek Beckage (14-7) Pen Argyl; Jr. Brian Bistis (11-2) Hunterdon Central; Jr. Owen Boyle (13-5) North Hunterdon; Sr. Bob Detweiler (12-5) Freedom; Jr. Tyrone Deschler (13-8) Saucon Valley; Jr. Mike Dorn (12-6) North Warren; Sr. Richie Drey (14-9) Easton; So. Justin Heller (15-8) Parkland; Jr. Corey Kozimor (7-0) Hackettstown; Jr. Michael Ramos (17-6) Allen; Jr. Bobby Stevely (11-5) Delaware Valley.

Comments: Yenolevich rolled off 6-0 week and continues to dominate foes. Lane was 5-0, Glykas 2-0 with OT win over Easton's Richie Drey, Noll went 1-0 and Hartrum 2-0. Unbeaten Kozimor is lurking among honorable mention, waiting for opening in top five.

130 pounds

1. Sr. Josh Yurasits (19-4) Northampton

2. Jr. John Horak (20-4) Phillipsburg

3. So. Joey Rizzolino (15-8) Easton

4. So. Matt Schuebel (13-1) Warren Hills

5. Fr. Elliot Riddick (25-3) Bethlehem Catholic

Honorable mention: Jr. A.J. Chernaskey (13-6) Saucon Valley; Jr. Matt Klacik (12-8) Freedom; Jr. Vinny Peoni (14-5) Voorhees; Sr. Kevin Ritchie (10-6) North Warren; Jr. Trevor Stiefken (10-4) Delaware Valley; So. Nikko Stevens (15-6) Northern Lehigh.

Comments: Yurasits and Horak were perfect with 2-0 and 5-0 weeks, respectively. Yurasits beat Rizzolino 9-3. Horak dropped to 125 for bout Saturday but an amendment to our rules allows him to remain ranked at 130. Rizzolino was 2-3 vs. brutal competition. Schuebel went 2-1 and Riddick 1-0.

135 pounds

1. Sr. Austin Williams (18-2) Pen Argyl

2. Jr. Austin Sommer (19-4) Northampton

3. Sr. Bryan Smith (25-1) Bethlehem Catholic

4. Sr. Bob Moyer (15-6) Phillipsburg

5. Sr. Ricky Williams (13-4) Northwestern

Honorable mention: Sr. Victor Alpizar (14-3) Whitehall; Sr. Patrick Corpora (13-9) Easton; Jr. Dan Costenbader (14-6) Palmerton; Jr. Kyle Cyphers (10-5) North Hunterdon; Jr. Benjamin Diorio (17-4) Pius X; Jr. Anthony Gaito (9-3) Warren Hills; Sr. Joe Grammes (15-6) Northern Lehigh; Jr. Kyle Mecse (13-5) Delaware Valley; Jr. Erik Mitchell (12-5) Hackettstown; Jr. Andrew Moore (14-6) Parkland; Jr. Tanner Simmons (15-7) Catasauqua.

Comments: Perfect week for our top three as Williams was 4-0, Sommer 2-0 and Smith 1-0. Moyer and Williams both went 3-1. Along with 112, this probably ranks as deepest weight class in The Express-Times region.

140 pounds

1. So. Ryan Krecker (21-3) Nazareth

2. Jr. Mark Hartenstine (24-1) Easton

3. So. Mike Ottinger (20-6) Parkland

4. Jr. Oliver Brukardt (17-6) Phillipsburg

5. Jr. Jake Giovannini (19-2) Pius X

Honorable mention: Sr. Mike Calantoni (14-4) Wilson; Sr. Brandon Johnson (18-9) Bethlehem Catholic; Sr. Billy Loftus (5-1) North Hunterdon; Jr. Ian Titus (11-4) Belvidere.

Taking injury time: Sr. Phil Marano (2-1) Northampton.

Comments: Near-perfect week for our fab five as Krecker was 1-0, Hartentstine 5-0, Ottinger 6-0, Brukardt 4-1 and Giovannini 6-0. Fans should hope to see Hartenstine-Brukardt rematch in Saturday night's dual meet between Easton and Phillipsburg. Brukardt upset Hartenstine 2-1 in Reno.

145 pounds

1. Sr. Kris Krawchuk (20-0) Northern Lehigh

2. Sr. Austin Warman (20-1) Wilson

3. Sr. Nick Pare (16-7) Phillipsburg

4. So. Kyle Dehaut (21-3) Bethlehem Catholic

5. Sr. Ricky Graff (12-2) Warren Hills

Honorable mention: Jr. Ryan Kisslinger (15-6) Liberty; Sr. Mike LaPorta (12-5) Saucon Valley; So. Mason McIntyre (12-6) Freedom; Jr. Phil Racciato (13-5) Pen Argyl.

Taking injury time: Sr. Shane Fenningham (11-5) Northampton.

Comments: No. 1 Krawchuk is only remaining unbeaten among starters in Colonial League, and improved record with 8-0 mark last week. Warman bumped to 152 to score two tough wins, including 2-0 decision over Craemer Hedash of Northern Lehigh, in dual meets. Warman and Pare have one common opponent -- Warman won; Pare lost -- so Warman jumps Pare, who was 3-1. Dehaut went 1-0 and Graff 2-1.

152 pounds

1. Jr. Kevin Brown (15-2) North Warren

2. Jr. Greg Chrin (14-2) Notre Dame

3. Jr. Craemer Hedash (18-3) Northern Lehigh

4. Sr. Tyler Cozzubbo (22-1) Pius X

5. Jr. Jerry Somma (10-2) Hunterdon Central

Comments: Brown keeps rolling and stays No. 1. Chrin keeps second spot for now but suffered surprising 5-3 loss to Mutton. Hedash was 6-2, Cozzubbo 6-0 and Somma 3-0 as top five remained unchanged.

160 pounds

1. Sr. Jimmy Sheptock (22-2) Northampton

2. Sr. Alex Depew (18-3) Wilson

3. Jr. Wade Rivera (24-3) Parkland

4. So. Colin Hedash (18-3) Northern Lehigh

5. Sr. Aaron Ross (24-4) Bethlehem Catholic

Honorable mention: Jr. Matt Artigliere (11-3) Warren Hills; So. Ian Gimbar (13-4) Saucon Valley; Sr. Mike Simon (13-7) Phillipsburg.

Taking injury time: Jr. Mike Hafke (12-1) Voorhees.

Comments: Sheptock is in class by himself, and reeled off 2-0 week. Depew, former No. 3, beat Hedash, former No. 2, 9-5 and also won by forfeit to move up in rankings. Rivera was 6-0 last week and also jumps spot. Hedash was 6-2 and drops two spots. Ross went 1-0.

171 pounds

1. Jr. Tate Klidonas (15-1) Emmaus

2. Sr. Seth Csaszar (16-5) Northampton

3. Sr. Dan Shust (13-3) North Hunterdon

4. Jr. Cameron Kroemelbein (16-3) Belvidere

Honorable mention: Sr. Ryder Clemmo (10-4) North Warren; Jr. Luke DeLuise (18-5) Pius X; Sr. Josh Heft (14-6) Parkland; Jr. Chris Pintado (14-5) Liberty.

Comments: Perfect week for this weight class. Klidonas was 1-0, Csaszar 2-0, Shust 5-0, Kroemelbein 5-0 and Keim 1-0. No changes necessary.

189 pounds

1. Sr. Joe Piro (18-4) Northampton

2. Sr. Jared Crouse (16-5) Phillipsburg

3. Sr. Danny Boyle (19-2) Northern Lehigh

4. Jr. Taray Carey (14-4) Whitehall

5. Jr. Andrew Scudder (12-6) Hackettstown

Honorable mention: Sr. Darrin George (12-4) Palmerton.

Comments: Piro solidifies No. 1 with 2-0 effort, including bumping up for impressive 6-1 win over Daryl Klotz of Liberty. Crouse was 4-1, Boyle 8-0, Carey 2-0 and Scudder 2-2.

215 pounds

1. Sr. Brandon Palik (16-1) Saucon Valley

2. Sr. Matt Santini (18-4) Phillipsburg

3. Sr. Chris Wilson (17-6) Easton

4. Sr. Tim Murphy (16-6) Nazareth

5. Sr. Daryl Klotz (5-2) Liberty

Honorable mention: Sr. Kevin Booth (16-3) Palmerton; Sr. Aaron Chamberlain (16-5) Northampton; Sr. Carl Kreidler (13-4) Whitehall; Sr. Richie Maguire (8-5) Warren Hills; Sr. Troy Silfies (12-6) Northern Lehigh; Sr. Brandon Strohl (17-5) Catasauqua; Jr. Khalid Zubaydi (13-3) Hackettstown.

Comments: Palik was 2-0 at top spot. Santini, Wilson and Murphy all move up one position while Klotz drops from second to fifth. Santini was 5-0, Wilson 3-2, Murphy 1-0 and Klotz 1-1.

285 pounds

1. Sr. Justin Grant (18-4) Easton

2. Sr. Erik Schaffer (20-4) Northampton

3. Jr. Brad Bormann (10-4) Hunterdon Central

4. So. Jack Delia (16-2) North Hunterdon

5. Sr. Sean Searfass (7-4) Freedom

Honorable mention: Jr. Curtis Garner (16-3) Catasauqua; Jr. D.J. King (11-9) Nazareth; Jr. Greg Ritter (14-3) Belvidere; Jr. Jon Slack (10-4) Warren Hills; Sr. Jim Tersigni (12-10) Phillipsburg.

Taking injury time: Sr. Will Fletcher (4-0) Palisades.

Comments: Major shakeup among heavies as former No. 1 Fletcher takes injury time. That means Grant, surprising second-year wrestler, moves to top spot after 4-1 week, including 5-3 decision over Schaffer, who was 1-1. Bormann went 1-2 but actually jumped one spot, Delia was 4-1 and moved up, and Searfass is back in top five after 2-0 week.
