Henning beat Davis for the second time in six days -- 9-6 on Friday -- then was decked by Flamisch in 24 seconds on Saturday. Henning beat Flamisch 9-7 in a previous meeting. Flamisch also lost 2-0 to Glykas on Wednesday and 8-3 to Moore on Saturday. Davis lost to Moore by technical fall on Wednesday. Based on the weekend events, Flamisch goes into the top six and Davis drops out. Peoni lost to Kozimor and Brouhard last week.

Notes: Sommer returned in a big way at the D11 Duals. He beat Pleasant Valley's Kyle Cramer 5-4 on Friday and lost a controversial 8-7 OT decision to Easton's Mark Hartenstine on Saturday. The K-Kid had been out since early December with a severe thumb injury. He should be a force at districts in three weeks. Dotter had a big week -- beating Northampton's Josh Yurasits 3-0 on Wednesday, Hirst 4-2 on Friday and Bonilla 2-1 on Saturday. Hirst was ranked sixth at the time. Moriarty upset Etienne 7-6 last Monday. Foley, who majored Moriarty 15-6 on Wednesday, is 17-1 since an 8-6 loss to Levandowski on Jan. 3.

Erdek also bumped up to deny Hackettstown's Zach Ulm his 100th win last Monday. Hrunka beat Ulm 7-4 on Jan. 27. and Nettuno 6-3 in Hunterdon-Warren finals. Nettuno stays out for now because the other two beat Ulm. It's a tough call.

In between, the Rover was winning 16-4 before getting caught and pinned by Blue Mountain's Corey Seasock. Piro was able to save two team points for Easton in a 14-1 loss to Nazareth's Dave Crowell (No. 2 at 189) as the Rovers won 29-26 in D11 AAA final. Ulm got his 100th win on the third try -- pinning Bound Brook's Andrew Lafleur on Thursday to become the third Tiger to reach the century mark. Santini beat Gelegonya for the second time this season -- 8-7 on Wednesday.

Notes: Wieller had a big week with a 3-1 win over Crowell on Wednesday and a sound 7-2 win over Rutt on Saturday. The K-Kid has beaten Crowell twice this season. That'll be some district with the top four going at it. Crowell also pinned Compton on Saturday. Palik bumped up and beat Wilson's Chris Labatch (No. 2 at 215) 4-2 in D11 AA quarters. Smith beat Frey 3-1 on Saturday to avenge his only loss of the season -- 2-1 to Frey in the Hunterdon-Warren finals. He's beaten the Blue Streak twice in their three meetings dating to last year. Deming apparently is going 285 for the rest of the season and Hoffman will enter districts at 215. We'll adjust for the postseason.

Notes: Hard to figure this weight class. Wilson beat Mutch 2-1 on Saturday to reverse a 4-1 loss to the Blue Eagle earlier this season. That series is tied 2-2 dating to last year. Mutch beat Northampton's Alex Collis (No. 6 at 285) 2-1 in triple-OT on Wednesday, while Wilson lost to Collis 3-2 on Saturday. Go figure! By the way, Wilson's brother Dan is a Union County champion for Plainfield (N.J.) High School. Dan Wilson was at Easton last year and is now living with his grandparents in Plainfield. Irwin lost 5-2 to Liberty's Compton on Friday in D11 AAA quarters. Haddad looking like a AA state title contender with four pins last week. He decked Gimbar on Wednesday.
