Comments: No change among top five for lightweights this week, though there were interesting results last week. No. 1 Cabrera went 1-0 with 9-3 win over No. 4 Fritz, who was 0-1. Welsh was 1-2 but both losses came at 112 against quality competition during PIAA Team Wrestling Championships. Cruz went 1-0 with narrow 2-1 victory over Stanley. Fake did not wrestle.

Shaffer went perfect 6-0, Mazza 2-0, Davis 1-0 and streaking Thorsen moves to No. 5 after 4-0 week. Rinker drops to honorable mention, for now.

Comments: No movement and not much action here last week. Marino was 2-0, Minotti did not compete, Kozimor went 3-1, Ferraina did not wrestle and Phillippi was 2-0. Kozimor dropped 17-10 decision at 125 to N.J. standout Frank Cagnina of Queen of Peace.

Comments: Good news for new No. 1 Sommer is Williams made move down one class. Sommer and Williams actually split two one-point matches at Bethlehem Holiday Classic in December. Sommer was 4-0 at state tournament, including quality 4-2 decision over Kenny Stank of Central Dauphin. Ottinger was 2-0, Alpizar 1-1, Moyer 2-1 and Riddick, who moves back to No. 5, went 0-1.

Marano lost twice to Central Mountain's Dylan Alton, who is 35-0 and ranked No. 1 in state, while Racciato lost 7-4 decision to Westmont Hilltop's Pat Dumire at 145.

Former No. 5 Dehaut is out taking injury time.
