( Notes: Flegler lost 5-3 to Ward in Northeast region finals. Our confidence was
restored in Dogmanits, who came back to take third after escaping in rideout with
Corona, who chose top to start the 30-second OT. Clymer won AA region title in
rideout. Strizki upset Kelly 3-1 on a takedown at the buzzer to win District 17 title.
Kelly leads season series 2-1 and they stay 2 and 3, for now. We'll see what happens
this weekend at Region 5 tourney. Gregory waltzed to first District 1 title. Jablon and
Morris were second and third in D1.

( Notes: Darling beat Mytych, our previous No. 1 for region title and also beat Oliver in
semifinals. Therefore he's new No. 1. Souders won AA region title. Sigafoos had no
trouble claiming D17 title. Mangini edged Pingry's Max Shanaman 8-7 to win D18 title.
Boemio was third in D18. Todd won his second straight D1 title. Smith was third in D1,
while Lavoie stunned Voorhees' Eric Lobell (18-12) 8-4 for third place in D17. Riccio
won D12 title.

made it to region finals, where he stumbled in 5-2 loss to unbeaten Crestwood senior
Joe Kemmerer. Carr came through via stalling call to beat Vinh 3-2 with 10 seconds
left in OT to take third and final state berth. Fuderer remained alive by placing second
in AA. Au became 21st wrestler in school history to win three district crowns Saturday
when he took 119-pound title at D1. Meagher and Costello finished third in D1 and
D17, respectively. Sutphen was second and Wagner third in D18.

at end to win 4-3 decision in finals. Grida won AA region title with 6-4 OT decision over
Octorara's Casey Ott. Welsh is still alive in AA after placing fourth. Stenack was third in
AAA as expected. Stillo won his second D1 title with 7-2 decision of Lasso. Piasecki was
D17 runner-up, while Campbell finished second and Ruggini third in D18.

Kelly was nipped 3-2 by Lawrence's Mark Savino in D17 finals. Varga won second
straight D1 title and was named the OW. Puleo was third in D1.

crowned AA champ with OT win in the finals over Schuylkill Valley's Steve Fehnel.

D12 title, while Honickel remained unbeaten in claiming first D17 title. Molnar was
second in D1.

eliminated in AAA wrestlebacks. Nicholas, who lost to Sciascia earlier this season,
was fourth in AA to reach states. Richmond won his second straight D1 title -- the
first at his school to win back-to-back crowns since two-time state champ Justin
Colaluce (1997-98). Gatti won D12 title and Catullo captured D17 prize by
pinning Erdek.

takedown late in bout and was named OW at D17. Kurtz still leads all-time series
7-2 and stays ahead of his rival for now. Foley lost 6-4 OT heartbreaker in D1 finals.

title -- after being pinned twice previously by Amerman. Case was D1 runner-up,
while Perricone claimed D17 title.

( Notes: Groller took down Reiss four times en route to second victory in as many
weeks -- 9-4 in AAA region finals. After Derrico went down with knee injury, that
opened door for Snyder to take third in AAA. Pierson, a first-year wrestler, won
D1 title with 3-1 decision over Bourland. Keyes decked Somers for D17 title,
while Miller stuck Acquaye for D18 championship.

reflect matches and tournaments that have been reported to or covered by The
Express-Times. Two wrestlers from the same team cannot be included in the rankings
at the same weight, and they have to be ranked at the lowest weight that they've
competed in, unless they move up for the postseason. Blair Academy is not eligible
for our individual or team rankings this season. Only wrestlers from PIAA or NJSIAA
