mrsm.jpg 58 - 78 Mrs. M's Nut Roll Recipe
              Beat 1/2 pound butter until creamy.

              Add and mix:
                 2 tablespoons sugar
                 3 beaten egg yolks

              Disolve 1 yeast cake in 1/2 cup warm milk.
              Add 2 cups flour.
              Combine entire mixture.

              Let set in refrigerator overnight.
              Roll out thin on lightly floured board.
              Spread on filling.
              Roll up like a jelly roll.
              Let raise in warm place.
              Bake in oven at 350F.


              Nut Filling:
                2 egg whites, 3/4 cup brown sugar,
                ground walnuts.
             (I also add a little melted butter so
              it doesn't get so dry.)
