ACE is building a "pond" at the down stream base of FEW to monitor leakage from the dam. All dams leak to some extent and the more water that is in the dam the more leakage that there is. I was told that there is not a problem and ACE just wants a way of monitoring the leakage. The construction would be complete before the weekend. Ted
