For a long time I tried every starship combat game I could find, but they all had the same problem: You field a few ships, not a fleet. I wanted a starship game that would let me play fleets of 20 or 30 or more ships against each other.

Since I could not buy the game I wanted, I wrote it instead. Flotilla was a step in the right direction, but it was not perfect. Attack resolution still took too long. Then I discovered Budget Battlefield*

Here is the new, updated Flotilla, released Under the Plainlabel Limited Trademark License. This is the best iteration yet. Now you can really play fleets of 50+ ships in only a few hours.
