For a long time I tried every starship combat game I could find, but they all
had the same problem: You field a few ships, not a fleet. I wanted a starship
game that would let me play fleets of 20 or 30 or more ships against each other.
Since I could not buy the game I wanted, I wrote it instead. Flotilla was a step in the right direction,
but it was not perfect. Attack resolution still took too long. Then I discovered Budget Battlefield*
Here is the new, updated Flotilla, released Under the Plainlabel Limited Trademark License.
This is the best iteration yet. Now you can really play fleets of 50+ ships in only a few hours.
You can buy large numbers of quality, inexpensive starship miniatures at DLD Productions.
NEW! - A pre-formatted booklet version of Flotilla is now available. It has the same rules and the same layout, it is just formatted to easily print on Letter size paper and fold into a booklet.
Plus, it is a smaller download! Be sure to print double sided, flipping on the short edge.

Authors Note: I originally designed the Flotilla ships based on a popular
Science Fiction television program. I could not release the rules with any
copyrighted or trademarked material, so I created the background presented in the
book. Feel free to create new ships and weapons for your own games.
