 Number of Awards to be Given

 

Awards are to be given annually with a maximum of 5 per year. Two for graduates of 30 or more years, two for graduates of less than 30 years, and the fifth is open to the committee's discretion.

Purpose

To recognize exceptional alumni, who have brought honor to the Bangor Area School District.

 

Guidelines

Must have demonstrated:

1. outstanding accomplishments in his or her chosen field.

2. dedicated commitment to his or her community

3. acts of service. Selection Committee

The selection committee is to be composed of representation from each of the following:

1. three members of the Bangor Alumni Association

2. three members of the Bangor Area Education Association

3. one member from the school district administration
