The picture below was sent to us by Carl Brodt. He writes:
"Here is a picture of the Bangor HS football team ... My father wrote Christmas 1937 on the picture. My father, Robert Brodt, is the boy in the second row in front of 44. My father's notes are that the two-tone jerseys were the first and second squads; and the black shirts were the third and fourth squads.
The coach is Frank O'Hara; the assistant coach is "Jabby" Williams; the faculty manager is Armon Williams; and the student manager is simply identified as Miller."
Carl is going to send us the original picture, which will be displayed with our other alumni memorabilia in the adinistration building at the high school campus.
