In an effort to preserve the history of Bangor Area Schools, pictures and other memorabilia have been collected and placed on display in the Slater Conference Room at Bangor Area High School. Pictured below are some of the items that appear on the walls and in the display cases. If you would like a closer look at these historic items representing over 100 years of education in Bangor Area Schools, feel free to visit the school to see them first hand.

This replica of Bangor High School (as it appeared on 4th Street in
Bangor) was created by Donald Buzzard '60 and given to the Alumni
Association.

The 1935 football team -Co-champions of the Lehigh-Northampton
Interscholastic Athletic League.

Pictured here are some of the pieces of jewelry associated with the
Bangor Area School District educational programs.

This 1910 diploma from Bangor Area Highn School hangs in the
district's board room known as the Slater Conference Room.

This certificate was given in recognition of perfect
attendance.

This diploma was given by East Bangor High School upon
graduation.

Pictured here is an original certificate of the first Alumni
Association of Bangor High School given to Don Keat in 1918. Also
featured is a small pin from the organization.

This is an original diploma given to a member of the first
graduating class of Bangor High School in 1885.

Display cases hold pictures and memorabilia representing more
than100 years of education in Bangor Area Schools.

This case holds a felt Bangor High School pennant from
1928.
