For the first time in his career, Paul Frantz is looking for a ride. After an opening day runnerup finish, the team was very optimistic. From there on was nothing but hard luck. A vicious crash on week two put a heavy drain on the racing account. In the following, weeks good runs were the norm, but the finishes were not. So, Paul and car owner Mike Odwazny parted ways due to lack of funding. Paul stated;"I really have to thank Mike for the opportunity to drive his car. I also want to thank our sponsors for their support and apologize to them for the short season". Paul is hoping something will turn up. He said;" I'll drive anywhere. I just want to race!"
