If I ever had a family outside of my own, this is it! A very humble, meek, down-to-earth people, with simple laughs and good old fashioned fun. Known by everyone for their strong spiritual inclinations. For many years it's been a practice to get together on Saturday evenings for in-depth bible study sessions (and in-depth eating sessions afterwards).
For almost a quarter-century they've allowed me to be part of their family too! Thanks, I needed that!
On each side of me is Ed and his sister Alma. On the far left is Ed's wife Teresa. Ed left country living and moved to New York City and actually likes it there. He's funnier than he looks, but still an awfully good guy.
If there ever was a real life 'Spock' from Star Trek, Karl is it, All logic - no (or at least little) emotion. But he still makes for a good friend. This picture was taken just after one of our Saturday-night studies, specifically for this page.
