(o umlaut) Indian woman as Jesse or Sarah's mother fits with Catherine Jane Ziegenfuss' claim that she was one-fourth Lenape Indian. Mary Ellen Williams' grammy said that her great grandfather Groner went to the copper mines, up along the mountain. He met up with a small band of Indians. He shared their camp and food for several weeks. When he finished his business and was ready to return home, an Indian girl came with him. They became smitten and she stayed with him, they married and she never returned to her people. Cause of death, palsy. Duration of illness, 2 weeks. Mildred: William Barrall was her boyfriend for 5 years, but she wrote him a really nasty letter after she caught him running around with another girl. He came home from the service with another girl, left her with his mother and went over to visit Aunt MIldred - five days straight. Then she saw him driving over the viaduct with the other girl, so she wrote him a letter telling him what was what. (But he was good looking). Aunt Mildred was good friends with his mother, but she didn't think much of her after she didn't tell her about what was going on. Went over to Pen Argyl Park with her class friends when she was about eight. All the girls were running to get a horse, she jumped up on the horse and brother was it cold! She realized she forgot to put her underpants on because she was being rushed around so much to get ready that morning.
