The "Youth
Group" meets every other Sunday evening during the school
year from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in Kaiser Auditorium, unless notified of
time changes for certain events. "Youth Group" is open to
anyone in grades 6-12. We love to see new faces! Come join the fun
activities and fellowship; meet new people; participate in service projects,
community events, synod events; and
most of all, share your faith. You
are guaranteed to walk away with many memories.

The "Youth
Group" is looking forward to an exciting year, as we start to
prepare for St. John's 100th Anniversary in 2010. We are
planning a carnival for the 100 year celebration. We are also
planning to attend the ELCA Youth Gathering in 2009, so that
planning will start this year as well. The 2009 gathering will
be in New Orleans, LA, and is open to anyone in the 10th - 12th
grades. Along with our regular schedule for Youth Group, you
can see we will be very busy. See the "Youth Events Calendar"
below.

NEW FOR 2007 ...
Teen Challenge Class! St. John's started a new class
for teens who have finished confirmation class. It is held every Sunday morning from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM,
upstairs across from the Banko Lounge. The class is open to all
teens from 9th grade to 19 years of age. We will show films
and have discussion
groups on everyday issues with teens.

The "Youth Program" is
open to anyone from pre-K through
grade 12. Events are held throughout the year, such as movie
nights, ice skating, and snow tubing in January at Blue
Mountain.
