Eventually he gave it to his son, David C. Brown and daughter-in-law Emma N. Brown, who were married in 1909.
The farm is just off Kirk's Mills Road, close to Rte 272 and the Octorara Creek.

| The farm went through several owners after David Chalkley Brown and his family left it. The latest owner has built a huge addition on the left side of the house. In this picture the chimneys for the original fireplaces of the old farmhouse can be seen. | |

| The stone springhouse sits on the other side of the dirt road that runs in front of the house and over to the barns. In the past, a small, shallow creek ran near the springhouse, and to the barn. | |

| This is one of two large barns on the property, and sits across the road and down from the house. The other barn, not pictured, is on the same side as the farmhouse. | |
