Eastland Quaker Meeting

To get to Eastland Quaker Meetinghouse, you can travel on Rte. 272 north, from Oxford Pa. Routes 1 and 272 connect at Nottingham Pa., in Chester County. Heading north on 272 will take you across Octoraro Creek, which is the border into Lancaster County. You are now in Little Britain Township. Further north on route 272, Little Britain Road comes in from the south (left). Take Little Britain Rd. south to Friends Rd. At this intersection, turn east (left) towards Kirks Mills Rd. At the intersection of Kirks Mills Rd, and Friends Rd. you will find Eastland Friends Meeting and Cemetery. This is where David C. and Emma N. Brown, and other family are buried. Here also are buried his parents, Alvin Brown and his wife, Anna Mary Griffith, as well as Alvin's father, Jacob Brown.
