    Quake II is here! This is only a test demo, so there are some bugs and missing features, but it's not like the original Quake Test Demo, this one has 3 levels and enemies, but has no multiplayer support whatsoever. The graphics are simply astounding with a 3Dfx card. More info

    The sequel to the real-time WWII wargame Close Combat. You can take control of either the Allies or the Axis Powers in Operation Market Garden, in Holland. The sequel adds a couple of new features, and still has the good qualities of the original. More info

    Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II LucasArts
    You take the role of Kyle Katarn again, who is now training to become a Jedi Knight, after your father is murdered by the Dark Jedi Jerec. Your father died protecting the Valley of the Jedi, a burial ground which contains the force of thousands of Jedi. Now you must stop Jerec from gaining that power. The demo contains one massive single player level, and one multiplayer level. Your objective in the demo is to stop the assassin droid 8t88 from escaping. Jedi Knight has a full 3D engine, and even lets you fight with the lightsaber and use the force. Definately worth the download. More info

    Subspace 1.28 - US West US East Virgin Interactive Entertainment
    A multiplayer over the internet shooter, similar to asteroids. You fly around a large arena, competing against about 50 other players. Some games are simply free-for-all attacks, while others put you on teams where the objective is for your team to find all of the flags in the arena. This is the latest version, with many updates.     A real-time strategy game with nice graphics and advanced lighting effects. The game adds a new feature, cards, which you collect and can play as you wish, they give you bonuses and other options when used. There is little resource management at all, the game concentrates on building your units and attack strategies. More info

    NetStorm West East Activision
    A real-time strategy game that is quite unique. The game places more emphasis on unit placement and planning ahead, than action. You can move from island to island and place weaponry off of your islands buy building bridges, in a fashion similar to tetris. It takes place on the world of Nimbus, where tribes who live on floating islands must battle with each other to sacrifice each others' priests to please their gods, the furies. The game was designed for playing over the internet, with up to 8 players per game. The demo only has Sun units, but that is plenty to play for a long time. The more games you win in multiplayer, the more advanced units you can gain access to. More info

    A 3D shooter where you take control of your LAV-6 hover vehicle, and must fight your way through the aliens overrunning your base. This takes advantage of 3D accelerators, and has some nice graphics. This isn't a simple shooter like Quake, it has a storyline and complex workings, similar to Origin's earlier System Shock.     Worms 2 with Intro without Intro Team 17 Software
    A turn-based strategy game, where you must lead your platoon of worms to attack and eliminate the other platoons. The original Worms was a classic, and this seems to follow in its footsteps quite well. Worms 2 supports multiplayer, even over the internet, and has nice SVGA graqhics, with great animation for the worms. More info
