Duties of the Table Custodians |
|
At the Games On Demand Tables there will be a box with large envelopes and a White Board and Marker for each table. Each envelope will have the name of the Table Custodian and the shift he is working. Inside will be a paper for the table Custodian to write down the badge numbers of players, and a small envelope to collect tickets from players. Before you begin running a game for these players, hand them the badge sheet and have them write their Badge numbers on the sheet and on the backs of their Generic tickets. Collect a Generic Ticket from each player for every 2 hours of gaming. Place the tickets in the small envelope. On the White
Board for the table you are playing at write the name of the GM (you),
the Game to be run, and the time the game should finish. If other players come later you'll need to take a break from the game your running to settle the players at the table (if there is room) have them add their Badge number to your sheet while you collect Generic tickets and write their GM, Game and time end on the white board. NOTE: Gms play for free. Do Not collect tickets from Gms. If they are playing Polaris or a game without a clear GM, then whoever brought the game, or collected the group gets the GM benefit. If there are any complaints then collect a ticket from all of them. Table
Custodians will need to be aware of the time and let games know when
their two hours are up. Games should have a 15 minute window for
ending, so if a game runs over 15 minutes its no big deal but if the
game continues longer the you'll need to collect more generics from
those players. After your
shift, place the paper with the names and the envelope with the tickets
back in the large envelope with your name on it.
Then place that back in the box. Brief the next Table Custodian on games still in progress. All Custodians Will have my Cell # if there are any problems.
