Emergency Shelter
| Women's Resources operates a shelter for women and children who are in imminent danger of abuse from a partner or family member. The shelter is handicapped accessible and can accommodate up to 11 people who live communally in a non-violent and home-like atmosphere. The shelter team provides individual counseling, advocacy and support to residents. Food, toiletries, and household needs are provided without cost to residents during their stay.

| We are grateful for the many community groups who donate toiletries and personal products for our residents, or run campaigns to fulfill our shelter wish list. This is just one way that the community shows it cares! |

| During 1998, Women's Resources provided 1,609 days of shelter to 59 adults and 70 children.
