I met my wife "Virginia Ginger Hagerman" (class of 1956) in Dunmore High School,
Dunmore Pa. USA. We married on July 4th 1957. Have 2 children. Son & daughter.
Twin grandsons & grandaughter. Son Charles, married has twin boys 8 yrs. old.
Daughter Virginia has a 21/2 yr. old daughter.
I held positions with the National Weather Service at the National Meteorological Center,
Washington. DC. 1957-1961. - National Weather Service Forecast Office, Buffalo
International Airport, Buffalo, NY. 1961-1971...National Weather Service Office,
Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Airport, now the Lehigh Valley International Airport,
Allentown, Pa. 1971 to 1992 from where I retired with 35+ years of government service
as a Meteorologist.I taught my Meteorology Course at Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa.
1992-1995...1995 to current, hold a position as Professor at Northampton Community
College, Bethlehem, Pa., where I teach my Meteorology Course during the fall and spring
semesters.
Have 2 web sites: Site No. 1: "Weather By Giannetta" - Contains over 1726
electronic pages about weather. 721 Weather Pictures. Thousands of
links to other weather sites throughout the world as far away as the
"South Pole".
100 Weather Graphics I researched, designed & drew plus much more. A book about
"Weather & Meteorology" programed on a "CD-ROM DISK" which my students use throughout my
Meteorology Course.
In 1971 I graduated from the "Erie County Sheriff's Department Law Enforcement
Training Academy", Erie County, Buffalo, NY, as a "Deputy Sheriff" with a bage No. "707".
From 1961 to 1965 served in the U.S. Army and U.S AirForce Reserve. Hold an amateur
radio license since 1959, call letters: "WA3RSQ".
